Just the two of us....

I am not usually witness to the moment when a Bride sees her Groom for the first time, but on the wedding day of Emily + Dave, that was not the case. Despite my best efforts to pack up and scoot out of their hotel suite before the couple's pre-wedding meeting, I squeezed into a corner and hoped I would go unnoticed. Long story short, I was still in the suite when Emily + Dave saw each other moments before their walk down the aisle, and let me tell you, there was not a dry eye in the room. There could have been 100 people in that room, but at that moment, it was just the two of them. I have never before seen a couple look at each other with such complete love and adoration in their eyes, and it was incredibly moving. Emily + Dave are one cool couple, and their love and commitment to each other is so obvious, it's palpable. On a September afternoon in a room in the Hotel Monaco, I saw what true love really looks like. And it's a special, and rare thing. Congrats to Dave + Emily, and may you always look at each other that way.
