Laura + Kingston (22)
I married my best friend on October 13, 2012 ~ and it was a perfect day. After working with countless brides as a makeup artist and planning countless events in my day job - planning my own wedding was a ball. The weather was beautiful, the many details came together, and most importantly ~ Kingston + I were surrounded by those that we love, making it the happiest day of my life. I did my own makeup so I thought I'd share the photos with you here. Thank you to Ampersand Photography for incredibly stunning images! {http://www.ampersandphoto.com} -
My own engagement photos (26)
The moment I got engaged, people starting asking me, "Who's going to do the makeup for your wedding?!" I replied, "Me, of course!" After doing the makeup for many engagement shoots over the years, I am excited to have the opportunity to share with you my own engagement {and eventually wedding} photos. I prefer a natural, simple look on brides, myself included. A HUGE thanks to Sarah Danaher for taking such lovely photos of Kingston and I. We can't wait until October! {http://www.ampersandphoto.com} -

The week long event took place in and around Santa Barbara, CA and I was so thrilled to be a part of their beautiful day. Congrats to Mark + Katie - one of my favorite couples! Many thanks to Andre Niesing for these stunning shots! {http://www.anphotographer.com} -
Project Inspiration (5)
Fifteen leaders from various nonprofit organizations were invited to participate in an “Old Hollywood” fashion editorial. This one-night exhibit was held at L2 Lounge in Washington, DC on November 16, 2011 and raised $4,200 for the nonprofit organizations. I did the makeup for 4 of the non-profit leaders as photographer {including Linda Mathes, CEO, American Red Cross, National Capital Region, pictured here on cover of The Georgetowner.} Huge thanks to the amazing Walter Grio who captured their Old Hollywood beauty. {http://www.inspirethepossibility.com} -

Alexis & Mark (29)
It is the absolute best when you hit it off immediately with a Bride, and feel like you're long lost friends...which is exactly what happened when I met Alexis. This was my largest wedding (and most fun) to date; I did the makeup for all 6 Bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 1 Bride! Alexis & Mark have a great story and make a beautiful couple, and I wish them the very best. Please enjoy these wonderful photos of their beautiful ceremony at Lansdowne Resort, courtesy of the team at Charlie Shin Photography! {http://www.StudioKama.com} -
